This study is part of a series named Monument, for which Lisa has created 3 different works. The largest sculpture is 53cm in height and made entirely from paper which you can see here. Viewed from 360° you can see lots of details from nature, a dragonfly’s wing, the scales of a pangolin, the spine of a bird. All executed using many different paper stocks including gloss, matte and heavily textured paper. There is also a smaller version with a diameter of 20cm which you can see here.
