Abel

Abel was created in 2021 as an emotional response to tragic world events. It symbolises sadness, anger and frustration. The name Abel is taken from the songwriter Abel Meeropol who write the lyrics for a protest song called Strange Fruit performed by Billie Holiday.

The internal structure and external texture is made entirely from over 1,000 hand cut paper pieces.
